SPREADING AND FILLING THE STREETS WITH GRAVEL AND REMOVAL OF THE LANDFILL

The Council of Palilula Municipality meeting chaired by Boban Dzunic Municipal president spoke about the Programme of maintaining of communal infrastructure in settlements of municipalities. It was estimated that planned works on the preparation and equipping of surfaces of public purposes with communal infrastructure in this Municipality will be faster, thanks to the understanding and support of the Mayor of Nis. After the visit of Palilula Municipality and discussion with the authorities of the Municipality and Municipal administration, intensive works on the completion of many already started investments on Palilula continued. In Public Enterprise Directorate for Nis construction is emphasized that the workers who are engaged on the works of adaptation and pavement of streets from this Programme in spite of high temperatures respect the agreed deadlines.

On this occasion the member of the Council Milos Stojiljkovic and councilor Milos Stojkovic visited the part of the road from Mramor bridge to the underpass in Ledena Stena settlement. On this direction of 1000 meters in streets Ledena stena 2, that branches out in three directions, perform the works to expand the road and backfilling with gravel. It will be current solution until the pavement of the street but according to the words of the citizens and this direction deserves every praise. The works are made by `Niskogradnja`, Vlasotince. This part of the settlement of Ledena Stena is below the railway and old river bed of Nisava, populated with the residents of humble material possibilities. Life conditions are very bad. Constructed objects are not legalized. The representative of Municipal authorities of Palilula within this action of the visiting settled parts in Municipality, organized also the removal of wild waste (dump) area that appeared in the nearness of Betonjerka, object of construction enterprise `Gradjevinar` on the way to Medosevac.
